Since joining the Firm in January 2020, Evan Johnson represents whistleblowers in cases involving Medicare and Medicaid fraud, illegal importation of medicine, and theft of intellectual property supported by federal research grants.
Prior to joining the Firm, Evan worked for over two years in the Financial Litigation Unit of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Boston, Massachusetts. At the U.S. Attorney’s Office, he helped defend the government’s financial interests in civil and criminal litigation, helping recover funds owed to the federal government and recovering restitution owed to victims of federal crimes.
While studying at Boston University, Evan developed expertise in banking and financial law, serving as an Articles Editor on the Review of Banking and Financial Law Journal, working at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and editing a textbook for one of the leading authorities on securitization.
